Ever wonder how it is you manage to lose track of things? I mean, you make a mental note, sometimes a physical note, sometimes even a post-it note, and yet it still manages to slip your mind?
Me, I meant to start blogging, regularly, again. I used to be an avid blogger, years ago. And then I took it down. Started from scratch, and then, somehow, managed to actually forget about it.
I want to look back over the years and have a record of my daily family life, to laugh at, to smile at, to cry and feel proud about... and I have saved my old logged blog, but the past few years are a blur. We've managed to add 3 more children to the mix, and I can barely remember the morning by the time the afternoon hits, there is so much going on.
So, I am going to make more of an effort, really.
So the kidlets, are growing up. Infancy is such an amazing period, because they grow so quickly, change so rapidly, and it goes too fast. I can't believe my girls are almost one. ONE! It's terribly unsettling, because I can still remember the day they were born as if it happened 5 minutes ago. Isabel is crawling, standing and cruising... Emily is, well, she has the world's cutest slug crawl, ever! Bless her, her yummy tummy hardly gets off the ground when she crawls, my littlest angel!
The boys, well, Jake goes to nursery 2 days a week this term, then 5 in January. And Alex is in Year 2 already. Such a good reader, such a great helper, despite the complaining that comes with being a 6-year-old boy!
My family, with all the hardships, all the struggles, all the work, is my life, and I love them (even if I say I want to give them all away!)!
