coffee break anyone?

It's not often I sit and think about all that I have to do in the day. I mean, lets get serious, if I had time to sit and think about it, I wouldn't manage to get through half of it! Mind, I don't get anywhere near what I should be getting done because boy to I ever revel in coffee breaks!

Take yesterday for example. I had loads to do, in fact because I didn't do it all, I now have an even bigger load to do today! In the wee hours of the morning, I often have a list of chores to get done to get the hubby and kiddies sorted for the school run. I mean there is getting breakfast on the table, which, if time is short, I often push Chris into doing (which of course means a well-rounded breakfast of cereal). Yesterday was a porridge morning, what with it being cold and rainy. Really rainy.

So, I made Alex's lunch, got him sorted with his uniform, went around the house like a chicken with its head cut off because he'd mentioned last minute that he couldn't find his reading book for literacy, changed Jake's nappy, got the twins nappies changed and then got them dressed, got Jake dressed, then proceeded to run around like said chicken with out head again when I noticed Jake has a basketful of unmatched pairs of shoes! Wellies it is! I gave the girls their breakfast, but their jackets on, put them in the mega-buggy, got Jake's jacket on, and got Alex off to school when his mate and his mate's mummy came a-collecting!

Not done yet, folks! Put Jakey in the mega-buggy, got the raincover sorted (which almost gave me a panic attack because it's tight fitting on a good day, and trying to fit it inside an overly cluttered garage was no picnic), and finally, finally got it all zipped up.

Phew!

Now to find my waterproof jacket, where did that thing go again, oh here we go again! Ahaa! Ok, so out the front door, open the garage from outside, and "Hi kids!" Then off to nursery. Dropped Jakey off, and before I'd gotten there, nevermind back home, I was soaked straight though.

Ok, so it's half past 9. I got The kids off to school. I was soaked straight through, the girls wanted bottles, and I needed a nap! No naps though!

But... a much needed coffee break.

See, that is how you justify a coffee break! :)

Speaking of which, I can hear the coffee coming up, must run!
